The slot is spring loaded; when I insert or remove the card, it can spring out and get lost on the floor. Once the card is in the slot, I haven't had it shoot out.

Using Word 2010 in Windows 7 I have a document that is 35,000 words with almost 500 footnotes. I'm in the final stages of editing and need to insert a cross refernce to an earlier footnote. When the cross-reference dialogue box opens there are some footnotes missing from the list but which do appear in the appropriate place in the document.
